He started Total Accounting in Cape Town and was deeply involved in launching and supporting Sage Pastel Partner in the region in the early 1990s. Who we are and where we started

Smarter Accounting is the current trading name of the practice originally founded as Total Accounting in Cape Town over three decades ago. From day one, our focus has been simple:

In the early 1990s, David Hartley helped launch and support Sage Pastel Partner in the Western Cape. That meant:

Through Total Accounting, he continued to implement and support Pastel and other desktop solutions, building a reputation for:
